The Process of how Arban Precast Stone, LTD. produces precast is simplified below. The process involves 4 steps from budgeting to installation.
1. Estimating- Pricing and bids for the anticipated job begin the process. Architects and contractors discuss and plan the course of the job.
2. Engineering & Drafting- Every job starts with architectural blue prints which become detailed production shop drawings. The drafting department consists of several highly qualified draftsmen and engineers with extensive architectural training. These shop drawings will show all the different pieces and their locations on the project.
3. Production- Completed drawings are delivered to the custom mold shop. Molds are constructed by skilled craftsmen utilizing a wide variety of materials from wood to rubber. After the molds are prepared, cast stone production begins. The highest quality materials are used. They are combined in state of the art mixers and tested by rigorous standards.
4. Erection & Site Work- Completed products are shrink wrapped so that pieces will arrive on the job site in the condition they left the plant. Every piece will be given a piece number which allows us to track it every step of the way.
All of our employees from engineers and draftsmen to shop foremans and casters are highly qualified professionals. They take pride in their craft and work very hard to produce quality stone for today's top buildings.
