Simulated Limestone
Precast stone, resembling natural limestone offers a less expensive and more versatile product than its natural counterpart. It is easily customized to match existing coloration or achieve any number of colors and textures, and even simulate other natural stone, such as granite and sandstone. Vivid coloration is permanent and impervious to even ultraviolet light, achieved with mineral oxide pigments derived from iron, cobalt and copper.
Precast stone is equally suited to modern and classical styles. It is able to capture any detail from the pattern or mold and can replicate any shape that can be carved from stone. It is the quickest and most economical method of duplicating ornate shapes while at the same time mimicking the look, color, and texture of any natural stone. The versatality possible in color and texture makes cast stone the ideal permanent medium and makes available a wide range of possibilities to the architect. Precast stone is also used as an excellent replacement for deteriorating natural stone.
Whether you want to design old classical or modern day architecture, its advantages over natural stone or limestone are limitless. It's typically used as a masonry product, an architectural feature, trim, ornament or facing for buildings, and other structures. It is considered an excellent replacement for natural cut limestone, brownstone, sandstone, bluestone, granite, slate, keystone, travertine, and other natural building stones.
Precast stone is unsurpassed in strength, longevity and asthetic beauty.
